Davis Brothers Shine with Blue Dragons on Hand

Posted Monday, April 20, 2009 by Glenn Cocoman
The entire Blue Dragon Varsity lacrosse team and many members of the JV took a trip to New Jersey on April 11th to play against the Glen Ridge, NJ team and attend the Princeton-Harvard mens lacrosse game. While the weather and the 10-9 loss to Glen Ridge HS was disappointing, the Dragons were in for a treat later that day on the campus of the Princeton Tigers. The No. 2 ranked Tigers defeated No. 15 Harvard and two former Blue Dragons starred in the victory. Senior attackman Tommy Davis scored two goals and dished out 2 assists while his younger brother, junior Jimmy Davis, had an assist and excelled on the defensive end. Princeton coach Bill Tierney, another Levittown native, even called the younger Davis the MVP of the game.
